Please Don’t Think About Tomorrow
distraction4ever is a music duo formed in 2021 in Montreal by Beau Geste and Splitshift. The project is based on the re-union with guitar and bass colliding in a post-rave ambience. Mixing different post-punk influence with Russian new waves inspired vocals, their music is characterized by broken amps, analog synths, fast drums, textural exploration and distorted vocals. please don’t think about tomorrow, their first album, was all recorded independently from their artistic studio located in a trashy industrial building. They explore topics such as escaping reality, anxious downward spirals, addiction, nihilism, pessimism and fun over everything sharing day to day experiences of them and people they know

nuée décors is a composition that offers awareness of our environment and the bodies that compose it as one of the keys to understanding it, creating awareness and taking action within it. With an eclectic trait, this piece borrows recorded organic sounds, instrumental sounds as well as sound synthesis. These allow the experimentation of the possible links between the sounds of concrete nature and synthetic sounds which in my opinion refer to the human environment of our time.
